So I don't know about anyone else, but looking at the Indian visa application I became a bit overwhelmed and avoided it for several weeks. Unfortunately if I avoid it for much longer I doubt it'll get back in time, so I'm biting the bullet and getting it done.
It actually hasn't been as bad as I originally anticipated..
1 - first I went to https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/ and clicked on the 'apply online' link at the bottom which took me to a link where I could fill out a series of questions relating to my life, my passport and where I was going in India. Once you get to the end you can download it and then print it off to be sent to London.
2 - once you get to the end of the application you can make an appointment. This doesn't necessarily actually mean an appointment. It's also just for when you want to send it in the post.
