Hitch 2012 - Day Nine, Chefchaouen

We woke up and got breakfast in the same place as before, and then went looking for some bus snacks as Nick and Charlie were leaving to go to Fez that morning. Charlie bought some crisps that looked like shit watsits but they were only 1d (about 7p) but when he took them he gave the money to a young boy, so we're pretty sure the kid was begging and he stole them by accident! 

So they got their snacks and we walked down to the bus station with them where we were charged 2d to use the toilet - I could have got two packets of crisps with that! We hugged goodbye and then headed back to the medina where we spent the day wandering around shopping. I bought some jewellery, a jumper and a lampshade made of rug. I got two henna tattoos as well, although they didn't look very good, she gave me a good deal on the second one and being painted was very relaxing.

We went to the restaurant next to where we went for supper the night before and got chicken, chips and rice (I love me some chicken!) There were some kids playing instruments and while I was eating I accidentally kicked a pregnant cat who was skulking under our table! We went to bed pretty early - it just didn't feel the same without Nick and Charlie there.
